The Itinerary

Day 1

Embarking and disembarking from Cebu Yacht club in Mactan Island, you will be cruising in central Philippines for 8 Days & 7 Nights, completing approximately 21 dives.

Day 2
After embarkation day, Infiniti heads down south of Cebu Strait to the Island of Cabilao, part of Bohol Province. Diving in locations with an undisturbed coral reef, a home to barracudas, jackfish, ghost pipe fish, frogfish, crabs, seahorses, damsel fish, parrot fish, and schooling sardines.

Day 3

The next stop is the volcanic island called Apo. Located 7 kilometers off the southeastern tip of Negros Island.

The place became the first marine protected area in the Philippines, making diving here breathtaking. In addition, currents are constant, adding bounty to marine life. It is also famous for its colorful soft and hard corals and the home of turtles and banded sea snakes.

Since it is a volcanic island, dive sites are unique, composed of underwater caverns exhausting warm waters and seabed releasing sulfuric gas, making it look like a subaqueous jacuzzi. The name ” Apo ” means “grandchild” in the Bisayan dialect, depicting respect to its elder Island, Negros.

Day 4

On the fourth day, we will visit the famous Balicasag Island.

Located off the southwestern end of Panglao Island in Bohol, it abounds with a stunning display of marine diversity and undisturbed nature. In 1989, it was declared a marine sanctuary for its competent ecosystem.

Its underwater life captures exuberant divers from different countries, left speechless and astound. The large school of jackfish with feeding mackerels, lazy giant frogfish, friendly turtles, reef walls and caverns teeming with life, sum up a very memorable diving day.

Day 5

Moving further northeast, you have the chance to explore the waters of Anda. It is one of the municipalities of Bohol Island located on a small peninsula at the eastern tip. Only a few divers were able to come to see its underwater beauty, hence it is a remote place most convenient way to get there is by a liveaboard.

The dive sites are perfect for macro lovers as small critters are in bounty. Sheer walls are adorned with sea fans that are home to an extraordinary pygmy seahorse. Sloping seabed embellished with hard and soft corals is a haven for reef fish, ghost-pipe fish, and sea horse searching for refuge. And you can expect to spot many species of frogfish and nudibranchs in the area.

Day 6

Panaon Island in the province of Southern Leyte. It lies in between Dinagat / Siargao and Bohol areas. Diving in the local municipalities of Pintuyan and Napantaw offers a wide variety of underwater adventures, drift, wall, slope, wide-angle and macro.

In Pintuyan, snorkeling with whale sharks is a possibility because of the stream of current flowing in the area bringing food for these gentle giants. The sharks naturally pass with no human intervention. Manta rays are also visiting this area sometimes.
Napantaw is known for its dive site called Damsel City. A steep wall dive where frogfish and pygmy seahorse reside, and on the top reef and wall edge, a diver’s sight is blocked by the immeasurable amount of damsel fish. Pinnate batfish, reef sharks, turtles, and sea snakes can also be spotted. A huge plus if a whale shark passes by to say hi.

We will also bring you to another astounding dive site of Southern Leyte. Moving up north into Sogod Bay, experience unique night/muck diving at famous location called “Padre Burgos Pier”. Critters of different kinds can be spotted hunting at depth of 4 meters (13ft) to 15m (49ft). Expect to see wide range varieties of frogfish, eels, cuttlefish, and sea horses. Also, the highlight of the list is the stargazer. A type of perciform fish that have eyes on top of its heads, that’s why it got its name.

Day 7

On the seventh day of the cruise, you will explore the magical reefs of Limasawa. A small island of historic importance near the island of Leyte, located about 6km (4miles) off its southern tip, just outside the mouth of Sogod Bay.

The island is so remote very few divers are fortunate enough to go here. The marine life so unspoiled, it retained the most beautiful coral garden in the Philippines, with giant and small frogfish scattered in the colorful reef.

Completing the final dives of the trip, Limasawa Island will surely be a dive destination to remember.

Day 8
