Infiniti Moments in the Philippines: A Journey Through Time
“Our journey started humbly, driven by our love for the ocean’s beauty and today, we are proud to have grown into a professional team dedicated to curating safe and unforgettable diving experiences. “
The voyage of Infiniti Liveaboard began in late 2018, marking the start of our exploration of the Philippine seas. We were filled with youthful enthusiasm and a thirst for adventure. We encountered challenges, each one an opportunity for growth and learning and with resilience and determination, we overcame these hurdles, emerging from each experience stronger and more capable.
As we mark our 4th-year journey, we invite you to join us in celebrating the remarkable path from our humble beginnings to the present day. Let’s reminisce together the cherished moments that have brought us here, grateful for the incredible experiences and adventures that lie ahead.
Season 1 – 2018-2019
“Beginner’s luck seemed to be on our side”
In the early days, we navigated the waters of uncertainty, learning the ropes of Liveaboard operations and striving to provide exceptional service. It wasn’t always smooth sailing, but we embraced each hurdle as an opportunity to improve and grow. Over time, our dedicated team honed their skills and developed a deep passion for delivering unforgettable diving experiences.
Our efforts bore fruit as we successfully completed excursions in the picturesque Visayas routes. But the pinnacle of our early journey was the momentous voyage to Tubbataha Reef. Tubbataha welcomed us with open arms and a display of marine wonders that felt like a dream. Beginner’s luck seemed to be on our side as we encountered an abundance of majestic whalesharks, graceful mantas, and the elusive hammerhead sharks. The underwater visibility was nothing short of spectacular, reaching an astonishing 40 to 50 meters and the sea is always flat like an oil. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that left a mark on our hearts.
Throughout the entire season, the memories we created were unforgettable. We had the privilege of making many new friends and loyal divers, individuals who have since chosen us as their preferred Liveaboard in the Philippines. Their trust and loyalty have been a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence in diving.
As we celebrate our journey, we look back with gratitude and forward with enthusiasm. Thank you for being part of that incredible season.

Season 2 – 2019-2020
“Throughout this long hiatus, we held onto the hope to reunite, stronger and more eager than ever before”
As we embark on our second season, we reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had so far. Our dives have taken us to some of the most picturesque spots in the Visayas region, including Bohol, Moalboal, Apo, Southern Leyte, and Malapascua.
Each destination has revealed its unique underwater wonders. Just like Limasawa Island, as it stands out as a true hidden gem boasting the most astonishing reef we’ve ever witnessed in the Philippines, resembling scenes from a Disney underwater masterpiece. The pristine beauty of this site is simply out of this world. Balicasag Island has been equally generous, treating us to the spectacular sight of the largest school of jacks and the thrilling frenzy of mackerel feeding. Our dives have also uncovered a treasure trove of marine life, from elusive frogfish and octopuses to rare shrimps. In one heartwarming incident, we had the privilege of rescuing giant frogfish trapped in a cage at Padre Burgos Pier. Moalboal’s mesmerizing sardine run remains as enchanting as ever, and the presence of Thresher sharks at Monad Shoal continues to take our breath away, even if they remain somewhat shy.
As our Visayas trips came to an end, we eagerly set our sights on Tubbataha Reefs, where we planned to spend the next four months of our season. The excitement was palpable as we anticipated the surprises that this magnificent dive site had in store for us. Recalling our previous visit in 2019, with its abundant whaleshark sightings, teeming marine life, and astonishingly clear waters, our expectations were sky-high.
Upon our arrival at Tubbataha, we wasted no time and immediately commenced our dive trips. Though we had heard rumblings about COVID-19, we were confident it wouldn’t touch the shores of the Philippines. However, after just our third trip, our main office contacted us with the sobering news that some trips would be canceled due to flight cancellations triggered by the pandemic. While it was a setback, we held onto hope, assured that within two or three weeks, we’d be back in action. Little did we know that the challenges posed by COVID-19 would extend far beyond our initial expectations
Our dive operations came to an abrupt halt, not just for a few weeks as initially anticipated, but for an astonishing two and a half years. While the uncertainty and challenges could have easily discouraged us, we remained resolute and unwavering in our determination. Throughout this long hiatus, we held onto the hope that we would reunite and embark on a whole new chapter together, stronger and more eager than ever before.

Season 3 – 2022 – 2023
“Our beloved M/Y Infiniti emerged with spirit of adventure and thrill once again..”
After a prolonged silence, the world seemed to breathe a sigh of relief as the grip of COVID-19 loosened, and the Philippines reopened its borders. We eagerly anticipated resuming our dive trips in Tubbataha Reefs in March 2022. However, fate had other plans. Typhoon Odette struck the Philippines, carving a path directly through Cebu, where our beloved M/Y Infiniti was moored.
The typhoon inflicted significant damage to our vessel, damaging its hull, causing us to lose our anchor, and piercing a massive hole in one room of the lower deck. Fortunately, the Infiniti held fast and didn’t get swept away into deeper waters. We are very grateful to our courageous crew who braved the storm to secure and protect our beloved vessel.
Subsequently, we had no choice but to place the boat into intensive dry dock for extensive repairs, ensuring it would be as good as new. Our planned March trips were rescheduled to September, marking a new beginning for us. Despite the challenges, our determination remains unshaken, and we eagerly anticipate reuniting with our guests and embarking on fresh new start.
As September arrived, our beloved M/Y Infiniti emerged from dry dock, looking and feeling like a brand-new vessel. Without any more delays, we set sail for the Visayas Region, and the journey was nothing short of a resounding success. The spirit of adventure and the thrill of exploration were once again at the forefront of our trips.
Continuing our voyage to Tubbataha, we encountered a series of unique and unexpected experiences, some of which filled us with sadness. Nevertheless, through determination and unwavering commitment, we emerged triumphant from this challenging season.
Each trip was a testament to our dedication and passion for diving, and we eagerly anticipate the beginning of our fourth season with the same enthusiasm and determination that has carried us through all our journeys. We look forward to creating more memories, conquering new challenges, and ensuring another season filled with success.
